Before you visit.
What do I need to bring?
A valid national ID or passport. Uganda’s anti-money-laundering rules require us to verify every customer, and it protects you as much as us.
Can I check the rate before I come in?
Yes. Our rates board is updated by our team as the market moves, and you can message us on WhatsApp to check today’s rate for your amount before you travel. Rates can move during the day, so the rate confirmed at the counter is the one that applies.
Can I collect Western Union or MoneyGram money here?
Yes. Bring your ID and the transfer reference (MTCN for Western Union) to either branch and we pay out in cash.
When are you open?
Grand Imperial: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 9:00 pm. Nyumba Kubwa: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. Both branches: weekends and public holidays, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
